perso je n'en ai pas pris, afin d'apprécier pleinement leur prestation.

elle fut bonne, sans plus. Jared ne fut pas bavard et, excepté les platitudes habituelles (meilleur accueil, meilleure ambiance...), le moins qu'on puisse dire, c'est qu'il ne l'a pas habité ce show.

je n'ai pas senti la complicité qui s'instaure d'habitude avec le public, les frémissements, les frissons. j'étais pourtant sur la barrière et je n'a imême pas étais bousculée.

mais cela ne tenait pas forcément au public. les mecs ont assuré une bonne prestation, mais le cœur n'y était pas. et le public l'a senti.

en fait, ils ont joué la montre et jared s'est interrompu juste ce qu'il faut sur K and Q pour assurer les 1H15 et c'est tout.

et pour finir, on s'est fait cueillir par un orage démentiel après la fin du concert.

est-ce que, selon l'adage, trop de concerts nuit?

j'espère qu'il seront meilleurs à Atlantic City, dans trois semaines....

on vient de me dire que Shannon a twitté que le show avait été EPIC à Budapest.

alors là, je ne comprends pas, car si vraiment les mecs ont trouvé ce concert épique, il faudra m'expliquer... car vraiment, oui, ils ont fait leur boulot, mais comme je l'ai déjà dit, sans plus. apparemment, nous n'avons pas la même conception de ce qui est épique...


et pour avoir assisté à la prestation de Papa Roach, quelques heures avant (ce fut pour moi une révélation, et pas simplement pour avoir presque eu dans les mains les parties intimes de Jacoby ), qui nous ont fait un show de ouf, à démonter la foule, je le répéte encore, les mecs se sont contenté de faire leur boulot.

Ouais ils sont un peu drama queen dans leur tweet... , en même temps comme je crois que c'était la première fois qu'ils allaient en hongrie, c'était sûrement pour être gentil avec les hongrois.

J'ai parlé avec le genre de street team hongroise par twitter, la fille m'a dit que c'était bien mais elle n'était pas si enthousiaste que ça, déjà parce que c'était court et j'ai pas senti qu'elle avait vraiment vibré et puis si toi gazobu tu dis que c'était pas extraordinaire, je tends à te croire, tu as quand même la plus grosse expérience au niveau des concerts de thirty!!!!

Friday
night's headliner, Thirty Seconds To Mars gave an interview to all the
curious journalists this afternoon. We sat down with the band's
guitarist, Tomo Miličević who turned out to have a little Hungarian
blood in him and he grabbed the guitar for the first time because of
Metallica.

If I'm right, we were arriving from Japan: which was the best place you've ever been to?
TM: Whoa,
this is a very hard question because I always try to find the best
places in every country I'm in. Tonight it's Budapest and the Sziget.

You were born in Szarajevo. You've never been to Hungary?
TM:
I haven't been here before but I know a lot about the country. Plus I
have a little Hungarian blood in my veins, my grandma was half Hungarian
so a little bit I am, too.

You had quite a big break before the release of This Is War, why is it?
TM: We
were making this record for two years, before that we've been touring
for three whole years so we just had to take a little break. Then Jared
wrote a few songs and we started the recordings.

We'll have to wait that much for the next one, as well?
TM:
I hope not, but it's hard to tell because we will work on it until it's
compeletely done and you can't know how long that will take.

What happened to the more than 100 songs you didn't put on the record?
TM:
They're gone forever, disappeared somewhere in the universe. We
recorded a few acoustic songs with Jared but we don't know what we're
gonna do with them, if we release them at all. We probably come out with
a collection but it would be too early to talk about that.

You learned to play the violin, are you still practising these days?
TM: I've
been playing it for long long years, but lately I practise less and
less. Although sometimes when I'm on stage I pick it up.

How did it happen that you fell in love with heavy metal?
TM:
This is a good story. Actually I've played the violin in a good part of
my life and once when I was hanging out with a friend, he asked if I
know Metallica. I said, I have no idea what it is. Then, he grabbed his
guitar and played a few songs. He gave me the instrument and I played
the very first chord of my life. What I felt right then is
indescribable.

Right now, who are your favorites?
TM:
These days I don't have favorite bands at all. I'm listening to
electronic music, like DJ Shadow and Deadmau5. Of course there are the
classics, it's impossible to exist without them, like Led Zeppelin, the
Pink Floyed and the Beatles.

You've never felt like you just assist Jared so he can try himself out as a musician?
TM:
No, not at all, never. I mean, in some ways, yes, because he writes the
songs and I play guitar for him and we're making music together.

You had a little showing from your documentary, Artifact which was interrupted by a man with a weird box.
TM:
We were showing a 20 minutes long part from it when this guy showed up
who scared everyone with this box which we thought is a bomb. But
fortunately nothing serious happened, it could have been much worse.

When will be the whole film finished?
TM:
Probably by the end of this year, at the latest the beginning of next
year. Those who are gonna watch it can take a look into the band's life,
there will be everything: how we were making the album, the lawsuit,
the shows, the people who surrended us and helped our work.

How did you deal with the stress coming with the lawsuit?
TM:
It was very hard and I can't even describe how happy I am that it's
over. I don't mind that it happened cuz it just inspired us even more
with our latest record, all those barriers we had to fight gave us even
more strenght.

What are you expecting from this show?
TM:
I don't have any expectations, we're just gonna play and hope we can
break the audience out of reality for a moment and they can forget about
all their problems.

30 Seconds To Mars encouraged
festival-goers to have "filthy sex" in their tents as they headlined the
Sziget festival in Budapest last night (August 13).

Frontman Jared Leto handed out the advice as they came to the end of their energetic set on the main stage.
"Are you ready to go back to your tents and have filthy sex," he said.

Topping the bill on the third day of the event, the US band kicked off their performance with 'Escape'.

Leto, who was sporting a blonde Mohican comb over, paused before third
song 'Attack' to tell the Hungarian crowd that he wanted them to "go
crazy tonight".

He then grabbed a spotlight and ran across the stage shining it into the audience.

30 Seconds To Mars also played 'A Beautiful Lie', 'This Is War' and an acoustic version of 'L490' during their 12-song set.

The band were joined on stage towards the end by a number of female
audience members who had been hand picked by Leto to appear on stage,

After again paying tribute to the crowd, the band finished their set with fan-favourite 'Kings And Queens'.

The third day of the festival also saw a main stage performance from Mika, who put on a spectacle as the sun set in Budapest.

Surrounded by rows of sunflowers and multi-coloured banners, the singer
played all his hits, including 'Lollipop', 'Grace Kelly' and 'Rain'.


The singer also performed a guitar-driven cover of the Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams'


"Its been so much fun, thank you," Mika said as he left the stage.

Enter Shikari played on the Headbangers Ball Stage, showcasing the more
recent drum and bass-influenced songs from their recent album ‘Common
Dreads’.

zZz and Papa Roach were also along the performers on day three.

Sziget festival's eclectic line-up continues today (August 14) with performances from The Cribs, Calvin Harris and Iron Maiden.

Alors déjà pour commencer Salut tout le monde :) ,

Je viens de lire ce que vous avez marqué a propos du festival et de leur prestations. Moi j'ai au contraire trouvé que c’était un super show, et c'est vrai que peut être que le groupe était pas "a fond" comme d'habitude mais avec des prestations limité dans le temps je trouve qu'ils s'en sont sortie haut la main :)

Tout sa pour dire que pour moi c’était un super moment partagé avec eux, je ne sais pas si on peut poster des vidéos et photos sur ce sujet la ou sur un autre alors si on pourrait me tenir au courant merci ;)
