education at the private Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia but
graduated from Emerson Preparatory School in Washington, D.C., in 1989.
When he finished school, Leto enrolled at Philadelphia’s University of
the Arts to pursue his interests in painting. However, he then
transferred to New York City’s School of Visual Arts after developing an
interest in acting. Then Jared took part in his own film “Crying Joy”.

The third secret – success in movies

Jared’s career of actor has begun in 1992 with taking part in the
serial “Camp Wilder”. Two years later, he landed a role in the TV show
“My So-Called Life”, in which he played Jordan Catalano, opposite

Even if Jared Leto is very busy he always has time for something new.

Is War”, Jared offered his fans to take part in it. “I had an idea to
use people’s voices as an acoustic instrument. When you’re listening to
“Kings & Queens” you think that it’s just a crowd of people is

The eighth secret – aspiration to all the new

It’s amazing, but in his busy schedule he has time for hobbies. Jared
is fond of snowboarding, skateboarding, hiking and reading. Some time
ago he has liked a serfing. “My first experience in serfing was very
small. For the first time I tried it in Costa Rica, then in Nicaragua
and I fell in love with it. I want to brag and tell you that I could

He never forgets about paintbrush and easel. He has portraits of all his
women. Jared paints sketches for album’s covers, some of ones he uses

They brought a huge contribution in my world view. We had a lot of
experiments, involving different motives from different countries into
our music. We went to China and Arctic for shooting our music videos.
